Our Mission Statement is:
Our mission is to replace crime with education; by empowering families through education to take charge of their lives and accepts responsibility for their action. We want to raise awareness through education and training to enhance the quality of life.

The purpose of this organization is to ensure that all youth have the opportunity of obtaining an education beyond high school, earn a degree, and become productive citizens, and good role models to others.
Organization History:
This program was founded in 1992, as a result of a survey conducted by the Bellwood Neighborhood Watch Group. The survey was to determine why so many young people was committing crime and getting incarcerated. The survey was attempting to ascertain why the high school dropout rate was so high and increasing. During and interview with some of the youth between 15-30 years of age; most of whom were high school dropouts; indicated that they wanted to go back to school, and continue their education but their parents could not afford it. Most of the student's interview in this survey came from a single household parenting where, a single female was head of household.

Although this program is open to any one; our primary focus area is the proviso township, which is located 10 miles west of the city of Chicago and has a population of 146,000. Some of the communities currently being served are: Berkeley, Chicago, Hillside, Bellwood, Broadview and Maywood, and Northlake. Some of these have high level of unemployment, and crime, which is unhealthy.
How this program was organized:
This Corporation is organized exclusively for the purposes as specified in section 501-C-3 of the Internal Revenue Code, including, such purposes, the making of distribution to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501-C-3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
