How this program is funded:
- This program is funded by preparing grant proposals to coporate foundations
- Receiving donations from individual persons / corporate businesses and or
communities
- The Village of Bellwood donations in kind help with: paper, printing, phones,
lights, office space, etc.
- Preparing fund raising events

How funds will be used:
- These funds will be used to support students with low incomes living below
the poverty line

When funds are distributed:
- Funds are distributed the last week in July of each year. Raffle drawings
are also held during the distribution of scholarship funds
- This past July 30th, 2005 we granted a total of twenty-three scholarships,
and we hope to match or exceed this amount in year 2006
- Our supporters are provided with a progress report of all college students
who have successfully achieved their educational goals through this program.
Board Members, Officers,and other Staff Members are not paid for their service
as board of directors.

Some other options are:
- A worth while cause donation of $15,000 will help with two semesters
- A donation of $10,000 will help with tuition
- A donation of $5,000 will help with fees and other expenses etc.
- Any item(s) that can be used in a raffle drawing to generate funds such
as dinner for two and a over night stay at a hotel
- A twenty-five inch color television set, etc

What you can expect in return for your donation:
This program has its annual banquet each year in July and between four-five
hundred people attend. We will advertise your business in our ad book free of
charge with a donation to this scholarship fund corporation.
